Description

Biotinamidocaproate Tobramycin Amide is a conjugated compound combining biotinamidocaproate with tobramycin via an amide linkage. Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with a complex structure composed of multiple amino sugars attached to a central sugar ring. The amide linkage between the biotinamidocaproate group and tobramycin ensures stable conjugation of the biotinylated spacer to the antibiotic. This group consists of biotin (vitamin B7) linked through an amide bond to a six-carbon (caproate) chain. The caproate part (a six-carbon chain) acts as a spacer between the biotin and tobramycin.
