Description

Bis-Biotin-PEG23 has been used in affinity chromatography for the purification of proteins. Due to the high affinity of biotin for avidin or streptavidin, proteins tagged with Bis-Biotin-PEG23 can be captured and purified using avidin or streptavidin columns. Additionally, Bis-Biotin-PEG23 can be used in Western blotting or ELISA assays for the detection of proteins, where biotinylated antibodies or other biotinylated probes are employed.
