Description

Bis-Biotinyl Cystamine is a compound where two biotin molecules are linked together via a cystamine linker. The cystamine linker with its disulfide bond can act as a crosslinking agent in biomolecular conjugation. Under reducing conditions (e.g., with dithiothreitol, DTT), the disulfide bond can be cleaved to release the biotinylated molecules or to control the release of attached biomolecules.
