Boron Doped Carbon Microspheres are an emerging class of nanostructured carbon materials in which boron atoms are incorporated into the carbon matrix. These microspheres are often prepared by the self-assembly of carbon precursors under controlled conditions or through chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or hydrothermal methods. The incorporation of boron atoms into the carbon network is done to modify the electronic, chemical, and structural properties of carbon, creating a material that can exhibit enhanced performance in a variety of applications, particularly those requiring high conductivity, catalytic activity, and stability. Boron, with its trivalent nature, introduces electron deficiency, which alters the behavior of the carbon material, often leading to improved charge transfer, electrochemical performance, and catalytic properties.
