Description

BP Fluor 405 DBCO refers to a compound that combines a fluorescent dye, BP Fluor 405, with the reactive group DBCO (Dibenzocyclooctyne). BP Fluor 405 is a water-soluble, blue-fluorescent dye that often used in multi-color applications, including flow cytometry and super-resolution microscopy using STORM. Its excitation is ideally suited for the 407 nm spectral line of the krypton laser or the 408 nm violet laser diode. BP Fluor 405 DBCO reacts with azides via a copper-free click chemistry reaction to form a stable triazole and does not require a Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures. BP Fluor 405 DBCO can be used for fluorescent labeling of biomolecules, proteins, peptides, or cells. The resulting conjugate emits light at 405 nm, which is suitable for various fluorescence imaging techniques. The conjugate can be used for fluorescence microscopy to visualize and study the localization of labeled targets in biological samples.
