Description

Bromoacetamido-PEG2-azide is a heterobifunctional PEG linker containing a reactive bromoacetamido and a terminal azide. It can be used for bioconjugation reactions, where the azide group reacts with alkynes via copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) or strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) to form stable triazole linkages. This enables the conjugation of the PEG chain to biomolecules such as proteins, peptides, or nucleic acids for applications in diagnostics, therapeutics, or imaging.
