Description

Bromoacetamido-PEG5-DOTA can be used to selectively label proteins containing cysteine residues. The bromoacetamide group reacts with cysteine residues, while the PEG chain imparts solubility and stability. DOTA chelates can enable subsequent radiolabeling with metal ions for PET imaging or paramagnetic labeling for MRI.
