Description

Caproylamine-Liposome xhibit increased cellular uptake due to interactions between the amino group and cell surface receptors or negatively charged cell membranes. Caproylamine is a compound consisting of a hexanoyl (C6) alkyl chain attached to an amino group (-NH2). It is a type of medium-chain alkylamine. Caproylamine can be used to modify the surface of liposomes by anchoring itself into the lipid bilayer via its hydrophobic tail, while the amino group remains exposed on the liposome surface.
