Description

Carboxylic Acid Functional Dextran (Dextran-COOH) is a reactive dextran conjugate that can be used to react with other chemical groups. Dextrans are naturally synthesized polysaccharides with good water solubility, low toxicity and varied molecular weights. Carboxylic functional dextrans can react with amino groups in aqueous solution. These dextrans conjugates can be used as long-term tracers for live cells. These functional dextrans were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
