Description

Cationic Liposome containing DOTAP-DiO is extensively used for fluorescence imaging studies, enabling the tracking of liposome-cell interactions, internalization pathways, and intracellular trafficking. The strong green fluorescence of DiO ensures reliable visualization in live-cell imaging and fixed samples. In addition, the cationic nature of DOTAP facilitates the formation of complexes (lipoplexes) with negatively charged nucleic acids, such as DNA, siRNA, or mRNA. The integration of DiO allows researchers to monitor the delivery and release of genetic material in real time.
