Description

Cationic PEGylated ATP Liposomes-DOTAP, Lyophilized Powder can be used for the delivery of RNA-based therapeutics, such as small interfering RNA (siRNA) or messenger RNA (mRNA). These liposomes can protect the RNA from degradation, facilitate its delivery to target cells, and enhance its uptake due to the cationic charge of DOTAP. In addition, cationic PEGylated liposomes can encapsulate photosensitizers used in photodynamic therapy, a treatment that involves light activation of drugs to kill cancer cells or pathogens. The cationic surface improves the interaction with cancer cells, while the PEGylation enhances stability and circulation time.
