Description

1,4-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, 2,5-dipropoxy-, 1,4-dihydrazide (CID 139035446) contains a terephthalic acid core (benzene ring with two carboxylic acid groups) with two propoxy (-OCH2CH2CH3) groups attached at the 2 and 5 positions, as well as two hydrazide functional groups (-NH-NH2) attached to the benzene ring. Compounds with hydrazide functionalities have been investigated for drug delivery applications. They can be used as linkers for the conjugation of drugs or targeting ligands, allowing for controlled release or targeting of therapeutic agents.
