Control Doxorubicin Liposome (PEGylated) is a control formulation for PEGylated doxorubicin liposome. PEGylated liposomal doxorubicin is commonly used in the treatment of various cancers, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and Kaposi’s sarcoma. Besides, the PEGylation and encapsulation within liposomes allow for prolonged circulation in the bloodstream and enhanced accumulation in tumor tissues through the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect. This can improve the targeted delivery of doxorubicin to cancer cells.
