Description

Cucurbit[8]uril-Mediated Multi-Color Fluorescence System involves the use of CB[8] to control and modulate the fluorescence properties of multiple fluorophores simultaneously. This system takes advantage of the unique properties of CB[8], a macrocyclic molecule with a hydrophobic cavity and carbonyl-lined portals, to encapsulate and organize multiple guest molecules, including fluorophores, within its cavity. CB[8]-mediated multi-color fluorescence systems have potential applications in sensing and imaging. By encapsulating fluorophores with different emission wavelengths, these systems can be used for multiplexed detection of analytes or biomolecules in complex samples. They can also be utilized for multi-color imaging of biological samples, allowing for simultaneous visualization of multiple targets with high spatial resolution.
