Description

Cy3.5 DBCO is a compound consisting of Cy3.5, a fluorophore, and DBCO (Dibenzocyclooctyne), a reactive group. Cy3.5 serves as a fluorescent dye for fluorescence-based imaging experiments. Its emission properties in the red-orange spectrum allow for visualization using appropriate fluorescence microscopy setups. The DBCO functional group enables selective and efficient conjugation with azide-containing biomolecules through copper-free click chemistry. This bioconjugation can be used for labeling and modifying biomolecules of interest. In addition, the bioconjugation via copper-free click chemistry provides a bioorthogonal and efficient method for attaching the Cy3.5 dye to biomolecules without interfering with native biological processes.
