Description

Cy5.5-PEG-Biotin is a fluorescent biotin PEG reagent that can be used to detect avidin, streptavidin or neutravidin. Cy5.5 labeled PEG Biotin is a near infrared fluorescent dye that has strong fluorescent emission at 694 nm upon excited at 675 nm. Cy5.5 PEG Biotin can target and bind to avidin, streptavidin or neutravidin with high affinity. Resulted complex can be easily detected with fluorescent instruments under Cy5.5 channel. PEG linker between Cy5.5 and biotin group offers better water solubility, reduced steric hindrance and enhanced stability.
