Description

Cy5 DBCO NHS Ester is a bright, far red fluorescent dual-label click chemistry probe that allows for simultaneous attachment of DBCO moiety and far red fluorescent Cy5 label. The NHS ester functional group allows for selective labeling of primary amines in biomolecules, such as lysine residues in proteins or the N-terminus of peptides. After conjugation, the DBCO group enables subsequent attachment to azide-functionalized molecules via copper-free click chemistry. Cy5 serves as a fluorescent dye for fluorescence-based imaging experiments. Its emission properties in the NIR spectrum allow for deep tissue imaging with high sensitivity and resolution. Cy5 DBCO NHS Ester can be used for live-cell imaging, enabling researchers to study cellular processes and interactions in real-time. Its NIR fluorescence facilitates imaging with minimal background interference. It is also useful for click chemistry applications.
