CycloIr-N3 combines the properties of cyclometalated iridium complexes with the reactive azide functional group. Cyclometalated iridium complexes are characterized by the coordination of iridium with cyclometalated ligands, which often include aromatic rings bonded to iridium through a carbon-metal bond.
