Description

DADPS Biotin Alkyne combines the crosslinking properties of DADPS with the biotinylated moiety and the alkyne group for subsequent bioconjugation reactions. DADPS is a bifunctional crosslinking agent often used in the synthesis of macromolecules or biomolecule modifications. It contains two pyridyl sulfone groups that can react with primary amines, forming stable sulfonamide linkages. Biotin forms a strong non-covalent interaction with avidin or streptavidin, which is widely exploited in various biochemical and biotechnological applications for detection, purification, and immobilization of biotinylated molecules. Alkyne groups are commonly used in bioconjugation reactions, such as copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC), for the selective labeling and modification of biomolecules with azide-containing compounds. DADPS Biotin Alkyne is a versatile reagent with applications in crosslinking, labeling, protein interaction studies, and bioconjugation, enabling various biochemical and biotechnological applications.
