Description

DBCO-Acid s a derivative of dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO), which is a strained alkyne functional group. DBCO is highly reactive towards azides, forming a stable triazole linkage through a copper-free click reaction known as strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). DBCO-Acid is particularly useful for labeling biomolecules such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, and lipids with azide-functionalized compounds. These labeled biomolecules can then be utilized for various applications in chemical biology, such as imaging, drug delivery, and targeted therapy.
