Description

DBCO-C3-PEG4-NH-Boc consist of a DBCO group attached to a 3-carbon linker, followed by a PEG4 linker terminating with an amino group protected by a Boc group. DBCO stands for dibenzocyclooctyne, which is a reactive group used in bioconjugation chemistry. DBCO reacts specifically and rapidly with azide groups through a copper-free click chemistry reaction known as strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). This reaction is widely used for labeling biomolecules, such as proteins, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates, with various probes, including fluorescent dyes, biotin, or other chemical entities.
