Description

DBCO-C3-PEG4-NH-Boc can be utilized to conjugate proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, or other biomolecules to azide-containing entities for applications in diagnostics, imaging, drug delivery, or targeted therapy. The DBCO (dibenzocyclooctyne) group is widely used in bioconjugation chemistry, particularly in click chemistry reactions such as strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). DBCO selectively reacts with azide-functionalized molecules under mild conditions, forming stable triazole linkages. This compound can also serve as a building block in the synthesis of more complex molecules or functionalized compounds. The amino group, once deprotected from the Boc group, can participate in various chemical reactions such as amidation, cross-coupling, or modification reactions, enabling the synthesis of diverse molecular structures.
