Description

DBCO-N-bis(PEG8-NHS ester) is a branched PEG linker with a biotin, a DBCO and NHS ester. The NHS active esters can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins and other amine-containing molecules.The DBCO group is very reactive with azide molecule via copper-free Click Chemistry. The combination of DBCO and NHS ester allows for selective and bioorthogonal conjugation reactions with molecules containing primary amines. This is valuable for labeling biomolecules or preparing targeted drug delivery systems.
