Description

DBCO-NHCO-PEG4-amine combines the bioorthogonal reactivity of DBCO with the solubility and flexibility provided by the PEG spacer and the functional group versatility of the amine group. DBCO is a reactive group commonly used in bioconjugation chemistry. It can undergo a highly selective and efficient reaction with azide groups via a copper-free click reaction known as strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). DBCO-NHCO-PEG4-amine can participate in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with azide-functionalized molecules. This reaction allows for the selective and efficient labeling of biomolecules, such as proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids, with a variety of functional groups or probes.
