Description

DBCO (dibenzocycolctyne)-PEG-Thiol (DBCO-PEG-SH) is used to efficiently and specifically couple molecules, such as proteins, peptides, or nucleic acids, to surfaces, nanoparticles, or other biomolecules. The thiol group reacts with the DBCO group via a thiol-ene click reaction, allowing covalent attachment of functional entities for various purposes, including drug delivery, biosensing, and diagnostics. In addition, it can modify surfaces by functionalizing them with thiol groups. These modified surfaces can then participate in click reactions with azide-modified molecules, enabling diverse bioconjugation strategies.
