Description

DBCO-Sulfo-NHS ester combines three functional groups: Dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO), a sulfo-NHS ester, and a linker moiety. DBCO-Sulfo-NHS ester can be used to modify surfaces of materials, such as nanoparticles, surfaces of medical devices, or tissue engineering scaffolds, with DBCO groups. These DBCO-functionalized surfaces can then be further functionalized with azide-containing molecules via click chemistry for specific applications in biotechnology and materials science.
