Description

Dextran, Azide Functional (Dextran-N3) is a reactive dextran conjugate. These azido dextrans are reactive toward alkyne or dibenzylcyclooctyne (DBCO) groups via so called Click Chemistry. Dextrans are naturally synthesized polysaccharides with good water solubility, low toxicity and varied molecular weights. Dextrans modified with dyes and other biomolecules have been successfully used as long-term tracers for live cells.
