Description

DM1-PEG4-DBCO is a drug-linker conjugate for antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) with a DM1 payload and terminal DBCO group. DM1 disrupts microtubule assembly, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, making it a promising anti-cancer agent. DBCO is a reactive group that forms a covalent bond with azide-functionalized molecules through a copper-free “click chemistry” reaction known as strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). DM1-PEG4-DBCO can be conjugated to targeting ligands such as antibodies or peptides that recognize specific receptors overexpressed on cancer cells. This compound can also be conjugated to both therapeutic and imaging agents, allowing for simultaneous treatment and monitoring of disease progression.
