DMPC/Chol/DSPE-mPEG2000 (50/45/5, mol/mol) Liposomes, Lyophilized Powder are a robust platform for next-generation drug delivery and diagnostics. DMPC (Dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine) is a phospholipid with a relatively low phase transition temperature (~23°C), facilitating the formation of fluid-phase bilayers at physiological temperatures. Cholesterol (Chol) enhances membrane rigidity, stability, and reduces permeability, ensuring the encapsulated content remains protected. DSPE-mPEG2000 (Distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine-polyethylene glycol 2000) provides a hydrophilic, PEGylated surface that prolongs circulation time by reducing opsonization and clearance by the mononuclear phagocyte system (MPS).
