DMT-C3(Biotin) CPG 2000 Å (O-DMT-N-biotinyl-3-aminopropan-1,2-diol-CPG) is a solid support used in the synthesis of biotinylated oligonucleotides. This reagent combines a protected biotin group with a three-carbon spacer (C3) to facilitate the attachment of nucleotides during solid-phase synthesis, enhancing the versatility and efficiency of oligonucleotide production. The dimethoxytrityl (DMT) group protects the 5′ hydroxyl during the synthesis process, preventing unwanted reactions until the final deprotection step.
