Description

DOPC/CHOL/mPEG-DSPE Liposomes Labeled with Dansyl DOPE refer to liposomes composed primarily of 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DOPC), cholesterol (CHOL), and methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000-distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine (mPEG-DSPE), with a fraction of lipids labeled with dansyl-conjugated 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (Dansyl DOPE). They can be used for fluorescent imaging of cellular uptake, intracellular trafficking, and localization in live cells or tissues. They enable visualization of liposome dynamics and interactions with biological systems using fluorescence microscopy techniques. They can also be used to study the biodistribution and pharmacokinetics of liposomal formulations in vivo. The fluorescent labeling allows for non-invasive tracking of liposomes in animal models, providing valuable information on their tissue distribution and clearance profiles.
