Description

DOPC/CHOL/mPEG-DSPE Liposomes labeled with Texas Red DHPE refer to liposomes composed of a lipid mixture containing 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DOPC), cholesterol (CHOL), and polyethylene glycol (PEG)-conjugated distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DSPE), where a fraction of the lipids includes Texas Red DHPE (1,2-dihexadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-(5-(1,3-dihydro-3,3-dimethyl-1-octadecyl-2H-indol-2-ylidene)-pentanamide)). These labeled liposomes can be utilized as biosensing platforms for detecting analytes or biomarkers. Changes in Texas Red fluorescence intensity or emission spectra in response to specific stimuli or interactions with target molecules can be used for sensing applications, such as diagnostic assays or drug screening.
