Description

DOPC/CHOL/mPEG2000-DSPE Liposomes labeled with Rhodamine DHPE refer to liposomes composed of a lipid mixture containing 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DOPC), cholesterol (CHOL), and polyethylene glycol (PEG)2000-conjugated distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DSPE), where a fraction of the lipids includes Rhodamine DHPE (1,2-dihexadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-(lissamine rhodamine B sulfonyl)). This compound can serve as carriers for delivering therapeutic agents, such as drugs or nucleic acids, to target tissues or cells. The fluorescence of Rhodamine DHPE allows for real-time monitoring of liposome biodistribution, cellular uptake, and cargo release kinetics in vivo.
