DOPC:DOPG Liposomes Co-encapsulating NBD/Rhodamine, Lyophilized Powder are lipid-based nanocarriers that have found widespread use in various biotechnological and pharmaceutical applications, including drug delivery, gene therapy, and membrane dynamics studies. DOPC (1,2-Dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine) is a zwitterionic phospholipid with two unsaturated fatty acid chains (oleic acid) attached to a glycerol backbone. The headgroup consists of a phosphocholine moiety, which is hydrophilic. DOPG (1,2-Dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoglycerol) is an anionic phospholipid, also with two unsaturated oleic acid chains attached to a glycerol backbone, but the headgroup consists of a negatively charged phosphoglycerol moiety. The co-encapsulation of NBD and Rhodamine in a DOPC:DOPG lipid bilayer creates an ideal environment for studying lipid interactions, membrane integrity, and the dynamics of liposome formation and release.
