DOTAP Liposomes Co-encapsulating NBD/Rhodamine (NBD/Rhodamine labeled DOTAP Liposomes), Lyophilized Powder represent an advanced formulation that leverages the unique optical properties of both fluorescent dyes for dual-purpose imaging, membrane dynamics studies, and biosensing applications. DOTAP (1,2-dioleoyl-3-trimethylammonium-propane) is a cationic lipid that is commonly used in the formulation of liposomes, particularly for gene delivery, due to its ability to efficiently interact with negatively charged nucleic acids. The incorporation of two distinct fluorophores, NBD and Rhodamine, within the same liposomal system enables people to simultaneously monitor and study two different aspects of liposomal behavior, such as membrane interactions, fusion events, and uptake mechanisms.
