1,2-Distearoyl-sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoethanolamine (DSPE) conjugated polyethylene glycol with active succinimidyl ester (DSPE-PEG-NHS) is a phospholipid PEG polymer which can be used to encapsulate drugs/therapeutics agents in targeted drug delivery system, such as liposome based mRNA vaccine. The NHS-ester is reactive with amine at pH 6.5 to 7.5 to form a stable amide bond.
