Description

Electrospun TiO2/ZnO/PAN Hybrid Nanofiber Membranes offer a versatile platform for a wide range of applications including photocatalysis, filtration, antimicrobial coatings, energy storage, and sensing. Both TiO2 and ZnO are well-known photocatalysts, capable of degrading organic pollutants under UV irradiation by generating reactive oxygen species (ROS). The combination of TiO2 and ZnO in the hybrid membrane enhances the photocatalytic efficiency due to synergistic effects between the two materials. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) is a strong and flexible polymer, providing mechanical integrity to the nanofiber membrane. The incorporation of PAN in the hybrid membrane improves its mechanical properties, making it more robust and durable for various applications.
