endo-BCN-PEG3-Biotin consists of three main components: endo-tetrazine (endo-BCN), a short polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker of three units, and biotin. This structure is designed for applications in bioorthogonal chemistry, specifically for the inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reaction. endo-BCN-PEG3-Biotin can react selectively and rapidly with TCO-modified biomolecules or surfaces in biological systems. This bioorthogonal reaction is chemoselective and does not interfere with native biological processes, making it suitable for live-cell imaging and labeling studies.
