Description

Exatecan-2-(aminomethoxy)acetamide-Gly-Phe-Gly-Gly-Fmoc is a hexacyclic chemical compound analogous to camptothecin with a triplet amino acid protected by Fmoc group. Exatecan is an anticancer agent used in the treatment of various malignancies. Fmoc stands for 9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl, and it is attached to the amino terminus of the peptide sequence to protect it during synthesis. It can be removed under mild conditions to reveal the free amino group for further chemical reactions.
