Description

Fluorescent (DiA) Immunoliposomes-Biotin (PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder are designed for targeted drug delivery, bioimaging, and diagnostic applications. DiA (4-Di-8-ANEPPS) is a lipophilic fluorescent dye that is incorporated into the lipid bilayer of the liposome. DiA emits green fluorescence upon excitation and is used as a marker for the liposomes in bioimaging. Biotin is a small molecule that can be conjugated to the liposome surface. Biotinylation is commonly used for the purpose of targeting, as biotin binds specifically to streptavidin or avidin, proteins that have a high affinity for biotin.
