Description

Fluorescent (DiA) Immunoliposomes-PDP (PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder can be developed for cell-to-cell communication or targeted delivery of RNA molecules, such as microRNAs or other therapeutic RNAs. Their stealth properties (from PEGylation) and targeting capabilities can make them ideal for overcoming the challenges in systemic delivery of RNA-based therapies. Additionally, the disulfide bonds between the PDP group and other molecules (e.g., antibodies) can be cleaved under reducing conditions typical of the intracellular environment (such as inside cancer cells or certain inflamed tissues). This provides a mechanism for controlled release of the encapsulated drug or therapeutic agent once the immunoliposome is internalized by the target cell.
