Description

Fluorescent (DiI) Immunoliposomes-Glutaryl (Non-PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder are widely used in cancer research and therapy. Their targeting ability allows selective delivery of chemotherapeutics to tumor cells, minimizing off-target toxicity. For instance, antibodies against HER2 or EGFR can be conjugated to the liposomal surface to direct the liposomes to cancer cells expressing these markers. The DiI fluorescence aids in real-time visualization of tumor targeting, cellular uptake, and biodistribution during therapeutic interventions. DiI dye is a lipophilic fluorescent dye with excitation and emission maxima of ~549 nm and ~565 nm, respectively, providing bright red fluorescence. This dye enables high-resolution imaging for tracking liposome distribution and cellular uptake.
