Description

Fluorescent (NBD lipid (headgroup)) Immunoliposomes-Caproylamine (Non-PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder can be designed to cross the blood-liver barrier (BLB) for targeted liver therapies. For instance, liver-targeting drugs or gene-editing tools can be delivered directly to the liver for the treatment of conditions like hepatitis, liver fibrosis, or liver cancer. Beyond, the caproylamine modification can enhance liposomal stability and drug encapsulation, making these liposomes ideal for controlled release of therapeutic agents over extended periods. This allows for the sustained delivery of chemotherapeutics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or hormone therapies, minimizing the need for frequent dosing. The NBD fluorescence can be used to track the progressive release of the drug from the liposome in live cells or animal models, helping optimize drug release profiles for long-term therapeutic applications.
