Description

Fluorescent (NBD lipid (headgroup)) Immunoliposomes-Folate (PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder can be used in 3D cell culture models or organoids to study targeted drug delivery and therapeutic responses in a more physiologically relevant environment than traditional 2D cell cultures. The folate receptor targeting can allow for the delivery of drugs or gene therapy tools directly to cells in the organoid models that are overexpressing folate receptors, such as in cancer or organ-specific diseases. These liposomes can also be targeted to infected tissues or biofilm-forming microorganisms, helping to clear chronic infections that are resistant to conventional treatments. Liposomes loaded with enzymes or antimicrobial agents can target and disrupt biofilms formed by bacterial or fungal infections.
