Description

Fluorescent (Red) Carbon Nanoparticles are used in photothermal (PTT) and photodynamic therapy (PDT). In PTT, they absorb near-infrared light and convert it into heat, selectively destroying cancer cells. In PDT, red CNPs generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon light activation, leading to localized cancer cell death. These therapies are highly targeted, reducing side effects associated with conventional treatments. Beyond, functionalized red CNPs have been used for glucose detection, where fluorescence intensity changes in response to glucose oxidation. Similarly, CNP-based biosensors have been developed for detecting proteins, nucleic acids, and enzymes, making them valuable for disease diagnostics. Taskcm can provide carbon spheres in kilograms.
