Description

Fmoc-His(Trt)-Wang PEG-Polystyrene Resin allows the synthesis of complex peptides while minimizing side reactions and maximizing yield. Its structure and chemical properties make it particularly suitable for applications requiring peptides with high purity and structural integrity. The Fmoc group is a base-labile protecting group on the N-terminal amine of histidine, allowing controlled stepwise deprotection without disturbing other functional groups. Its easy removal with piperidine in DMF makes it ideal for sequential amino acid addition during SPPS. Histidine’s imidazole ring is highly reactive, which can lead to side reactions if left unprotected. The Trt group offers strong acid-labile protection, maintaining histidine’s functionality and preventing side reactions that could compromise peptide integrity. Polystyrene resin is an essential material for a wide range of uses in research, diagnostics, medical devices, and multiple industial applications from packaging to construction.
