Description

Fmoc-Ile-Chlorotrityl PEG-Polystyrene Resin features Fmoc (9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl) protection on the amino group of isoleucine, which allows for sequential peptide elongation during solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). The Fmoc group can be easily removed under basic conditions (e.g., piperidine), exposing the amine to react with the next Fmoc-protected amino acid.
