Description

Fmoc-PEG3-CH2CO2-NHS is a PEG linker containing an Fmoc group and an NHS ester group. Fmoc-PEG3-CH2CO2-NHS is used in solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) as a coupling reagent. The Fmoc group protects the N-terminal amine of the growing peptide chain, while the NHS ester allows for efficient coupling of the next amino acid or peptide segment. The PEG3-CH2CO2 spacer arm provides flexibility and solubility to the peptide during synthesis and subsequent biological applications.
