Description

Ga-NOTA-Tz is a complex involving gallium (Ga), the chelating ligand NOTA (1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid), and a tetrazine (Tz) group. Ga³⁺ ions are used as the central metal ion in the complex, providing stability and functionality to the chelating ligand and the attached tetrazine. NOTA acts as a chelator, binding the Ga³⁺ ion and ensuring its stability within the complex. Ga-NOTA-Tz can be used as a radiotracer for PET imaging. The stable Ga-NOTA complex allows for effective imaging of biological processes. The tetrazine group may enable further functionalization or enhancement of imaging properties. It can also be adapted for SPECT imaging, where the stability and functionalization of the chelated metal are crucial.
