Description

Gly-PEG3-endo-BCN, TFA salt is a BCN PEG linker that contains a Boc-protected glycine moiety. The Gly spacer provides a linker between the amino group and the PEG chain, which imparts water solubility, biocompatibility, and flexibility to the molecule. The BCN group at the endo position serves as a reactive handle for bioconjugation and click chemistry reactions. The BCN group in Gly-PEG3-endo-BCN, TFA salt can react with molecules containing azide or tetrazine groups via strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) or inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder (iEDDA) reactions. This allows for the site-specific conjugation of biomolecules, such as proteins, peptides, or nucleic acids, for applications in drug delivery, diagnostics, and materials science. In addition, Gly-PEG3-endo-BCN, TFA salt can be employed in bioconjugation reactions to label or modify biomolecules for various research and biomedical applications, including fluorescence imaging, protein engineering, and biomaterials development.
